About VCF
A VCF file holds one or more contact cards: name, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses and optionally a photo. It is the standard way to export and import contacts. Versions 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0 exist and differ in details such as character encoding.
VCF is a format for contacts, not a spreadsheet, so it cannot be sorted or edited as a table. VCF imports straight into phone and mail contacts.
