About GeoJSON
GeoJSON describes geographic features, points, lines and polygons, with their properties as plain JSON. It is the standard format for web maps. Coordinates are in WGS 84 and written longitude first, then latitude, the reverse of how most people say them.
GeoJSON is large for detailed boundaries and has no styling of its own. GeoJSON is plain JSON that web maps and GIS software read directly.
