How to convert TGA to PDF

  1. Add your TGA images

Drop TGA (Targa) files onto the box above, or click it to choose them. ToAny reads the file's contents to detect the type, so a wrong extension does not matter.

  2. PDF is already chosen

Press Convert. Open Options first if you want to change the defaults. The work happens in this tab.

  3. Download

Save the PDF, or download everything as one ZIP if you converted several files.

Why ToAny

  • Private by construction

The TGA to PDF converter is part of this page and runs inside your browser. Your images are never sent to ToAny or to anyone else.

  • No upload, no queue

Nothing has to travel to a server and back, so the conversion starts the moment you press Convert, even on a slow connection.

  • Free, without an account

No sign-up, no email address and no watermark. Add several files and download them together as a ZIP.

TGA to PDF: what to expect

TGA files are large and browsers, phones and most messaging apps cannot show them. PDF looks the same on every device and keeps several pages in one file. TGA is at home in game textures and 3D renders with an alpha channel; PDF is the usual choice for documents that must look the same everywhere, and printing.

Add several files and you can also combine them into a single PDF. The defaults suit most files. Under Options you can choose the page size.

Each picture becomes one page. The page can match the picture's own size or be A4 or US Letter; on paper the sheet turns to suit the picture, which is shrunk to fit inside the margins and never enlarged.

TGA vs PDF

TGA

Targa image

TGA, or Targa, is a simple raster format from the first true-colour video cards. It holds colour with an optional alpha channel, usually uncompressed or run-length encoded. Games and 3D programs still use it for textures and rendered frames.

PDF document

PDF fixes a document's layout so it looks identical on every screen and printer. That makes it the default for forms, invoices and anything sent to print, and also what makes it awkward to edit.

Questions

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The TGA to PDF conversion runs inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. The file is not sent to ToAny or to anyone else.

Is anything lost when converting TGA to PDF?

No visible change: the image is placed on a PDF page at its full resolution.

Can I convert several TGA files at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like, convert them together and download each result or all of them as one ZIP. You can also merge them into a single PDF.

How do I convert TGA to PDF on Windows, Mac, iPhone or Android?

The steps are the same everywhere because ToAny runs in the web browser: open this page in a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox, add the TGA file, press Convert and save the PDF. There is nothing to install.

Is there a file size limit?

Because nothing is uploaded, the practical limit is your device's memory. Very large files can fail on phones with little free memory; a computer copes better.
