About WV
WavPack is a free lossless audio compressor. It shrinks a recording to roughly half its WAV size while allowing the exact original to be rebuilt, and it also has a hybrid mode that writes a small lossy file plus a correction file.
WavPack does not play in most phones, car stereos or browsers. WavPack shrinks audio without losing any of it.
