About OFF
OFF lists a mesh as plain text: a header with the vertex and face counts, one line per vertex, then one line per polygon giving its corner count and vertex indices. Variants add vertex colours (COFF) or normals (NOFF). Its simplicity made it the format of shape benchmarks such as Princeton's and ModelNet.
OFF has no materials, textures or units, and few 3D modelling or printing programs open it. OFF is a short, readable text file that geometry libraries and research code read directly.

Questions
How do I open an OFF file?
OFF opens in: MeshLab, Geomview, CGAL, trimesh and most geometry-processing tools. If your device or app cannot open it, convert it to OBJ or STL above.
What can I convert OFF to?
ToAny converts OFF to OBJ, STL, PLY, GLB and glTF.
What can I convert to OFF?
ToAny creates OFF files from STL, OBJ, PLY, glTF and GLB.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Every OFF conversion listed here runs inside your browser. The files stay on your device.
Other 3d model formats
- STL STL converter The standard 3D-printing mesh: triangles only, no colours or textures.
- OBJ OBJ converter A plain-text 3D mesh that nearly every 3D program reads and writes.
- PLY PLY converter The Stanford polygon format used by 3D scanners; stores vertex colours.
- GLTF glTF converter The JPEG of 3D: an open web and AR format, as a JSON file.
- GLB GLB converter glTF packed into one binary file; the usual format for web 3D and AR.
